Né le 9 juin 1990, il passe pro en 2011 à Wishaw en Écosse et se construit un palmarès impressionnant dominé par les décisions aux points — preuve de sa maîtrise technique. Son couronnement arrive en mars 2017 lorsqu'il bat l'Australien Zac Dunn par TKO au 7e round pour conquérir le titre du Commonwealth des super-moyens. Malheureusement, après une défaite au 1er round face à Rocky Fielding, des problèmes oculaires le contraignent à la retraite en 2019.
